Is a few hours of help enough for an aging parent? - Geplaatst: Do Sep 10, 2026 1:46 pm

I’m trying to figure out how much help my older parent actually needs, and this has been harder to judge than I expected. They’re still pretty independent and definitely want to remain at home, but some daily tasks are becoming more difficult, especially preparing meals, keeping things organized, and getting ready in the morning. I’ve been looking into home care Columbus options, but I don’t want to arrange more care than necessary if a few hours a day would be enough. At the same time, I don’t want to wait until there’s a fall or some other problem before getting some support in place. For anyone who has dealt with this, how did you decide when it was time to bring in a caregiver, and did you start with a limited schedule?
