I'll be honest, I nearly skipped the whole inspection thing because I was convinced I could spot a bad car myself after years of buying used vehicles. But the Grand Cherokee I was looking at in Business Bay had a few things that didn't add up, the seller was vague about the service history and the price was suspiciously negotiable. So I figured I'd get a trusted pre buy Jeep inspection in Business Bay just to shut my own doubts up. The inspector was thorough in a way that actually surprised me, he spent ages underneath checking the transfer case and the air suspension, and he found a leaking shock that the seller had clearly tried to wipe clean before I arrived. That one finding gave me enough reason to walk away, and looking back I probably would have missed it completely in a dim parking lot. What I appreciated was that nobody tried to upsell me on anything, he just told me what he saw and left the decision to me. Anyway, if anyone is on the fence about booking one of these, this is your sign to just do it.
