Irregular menstruation, also known as amenorrhea, is a condition in which menstrual periods are irregular.
The menstrual cycle is a series of hormonal changes that occur in your body in preparation for pregnancy. Most girls begin menstruating between the ages of 11 and 15, with periods occurring every 21 to 35 days. Irregular menstruation is often a symptom of other conditions.
My period may reflect my overall health and hormonal balance. Most women find that the time between their first period and the first day of their next period is about the same each month. This cycle, called a cycle, can last anywhere from 22 to 35 days. Women who use birth control often have shorter, lighter, or even no menstrual cycles. Missing a period once or twice is nothing to worry about. However, if your menstrual cycle is irregular, it is best to see a doctor to determine the cause and regulate your menstrual cycle.
