I measure inputs vs outputs. Inputs include cost of the white label service, plus my time creating briefs, doing oversight, delivering to client. Outputs include new organic traffic, leads generated via organic channels, conversion rate improvements, any incremental revenue tied to those leads. For example, if an SEO campaign costs me (provider + my overhead) $1,000/month, and that brings 10 new customers paying $500/year, that’s $5,000/year revenue — net gain after cost is strong. I also track lifetime value of customers gotten via SEO. I make sure clients see those numbers too, because abstract metrics (rankings, traffic) matter less to them than actual sales or signups. White label SEO services are only worthwhile when you can convert SEO into money or tangible value.
