For anyone researching a CoinDesk press release submission, I'd pay attention to the publication route before sending anything.

CoinDesk has an actual Press Release section with company announcements, so there's a clear distinction between a published press release and an independently reported CoinDesk news story.

The other thing I'd check is whether you're submitting directly through CoinDesk's commercial/media process or using a PR distribution provider.

I was comparing options recently and found Web3 Newswire's CoinDesk press release distribution service. Their product page currently lists a $9,500 sponsored-post service and says you upload the completed release during the ordering process. They also say you'll receive a report after the article is published.

For me, the checklist would be:

Is the exact CoinDesk placement confirmed?
Is the release reviewed before publication?
What's the expected turnaround?
Do you receive the live URL?
What reporting is provided afterward?
Is it actually a press release placement rather than editorial coverage?

Those questions seem more useful than simply asking which PR service has the biggest media list.
