In today’s Highly Dubious Yet Slightly Hilarious News, it looks like Tom Cruise demands to wear a G-string while doing his action sequences.

“He was ­embarrassed at first but he sees it as a way of ­improving his flexibility as he gets older,” a source tells the Daily Star, who says that on-set wardrobe departments need around 50 pairs on hand for him just in case. “He’s pretty insistent about ­having a new thong every time. We do have a laugh but he sees it as dedication to his craft.”

Cruise’s love of the sexy undergarment reportedly stems from the fact they provide him with “comfort and flexibility.” Right. Because nothing says comfort like a string up the butt.
