Stray Cats is een Amerikaanse rockabilly band die in 1979 werd opgericht door gitarist en zanger Brian Setzer, contrabassist Lee Rocker en drummer Slim Jim Phantom in de stad Massapequa, New York. [1] De groep had talloze hitsingles in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Australië, Canada en de VS, waaronder "Stray Cat Strut", "(She's) Sexy + 17", "Look at That Cadillac", "I Won't Stand in Your Way", "Bring It Back Again" en "Rock This Town", die de Rock and Roll Hall of Fame heeft vermeld als een van de nummers die de rock-'n-roll hebben gevormd.
