Vince Taylor (geboren als Brian Maurice Holden; 14 juli 1939 – 28 augustus 1991),[1] was een Britse rock-'n-rollzanger en songwriter. Als leadzanger van Vince Taylor and His Playboys, soms Vince Taylor and the Playboys genoemd, was hij vooral succesvol in Frankrijk en andere delen van continentaal Europa eind jaren vijftig en begin jaren zestig, waarna hij in vergetelheid raakte te midden van persoonlijke problemen en drugsgebruik. Hij wordt vooral herinnerd van zijn nummer uit 1959, "Brand New Cadillac", dat The Clash coverde op hun album London Calling. [2] Hij was de inspiratie voor David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust-personage, volgens Bowie.
