I'm new to the CS2 community and just started getting into cases and drops. I'm overwhelmed by the number of collections and can't figure out which ones are still in active rotation. Is there a structured way to understand the case system better?

When I started looking into the different cases and collections, it all felt super chaotic. There’s a ton of info online but it’s usually scattered across forums and Reddit threads. What helped me put everything into perspective was checking cs2 wiki. It lays out all the collections, active or discontinued, with their respective drop rates, skin lists, and related weapon grades. I didn’t even realize how interconnected some of the drops were until I read their breakdowns. Having this structure really helped me avoid buying overpriced or outdated cases from the marketplace. If you’re serious about understanding how the whole case ecosystem works, that resource can save you a lot of confusion and possibly money.
