I parked up after a long drive today and noticed a faint burning smell coming from the front of the car. It wasn't super strong, but it's been worrying me all evening. I started browsing online to see what it could be, and a lot of people mention things like oil dripping onto a hot engine. It got me thinking about all the different warning signs of engine fluid issues that are easy to miss. Obviously a puddle under the car is a clear giveaway, but smells or smoke seem harder to pin down. Has anyone else had a burning smell that turned out to be something minor, or is this one of those signs you should never ignore and get checked immediately?
