Hello, fellow readers. I recently finished a translated family saga set in the eighties and now I want something with the same slow, addictive rhythm, but searching by title alone is painful. English titles for these books can be extremely similar, and recommendations on social media rarely mention whether a novel has three hundred chapters or nearly two thousand. Could you recommend a site where I can browse a mixed catalog of Chinese serial fiction, see chapter totals before starting, and move between historical, farming, rebirth and cultivation stories? I am mainly after a discovery page, not a forum full of spoilers or a storefront that asks me to buy chapters before I know what the story is like.

Hello. Polyread has a useful shelf of Chinese web novel translations with chapter counts visible from the discovery page. That matters because two similar summaries can hide very different commitments. I usually compare Recommendations with Trending and Recently added instead of choosing only famous titles. The catalog includes rebirth, period drama, cultivation, farming, palace stories and lighter domestic plots, so it is easy to change tone without leaving the site. Search helps when you remember only part of an English title. If you create an account, add active books to a collection and leave uncertain ones outside it. I would still sample five to ten chapters before settling in, since names and translation style can vary sharply between series.
